Our Growth over the Years.

Originally involved in Hot Metal typesetting and Letterpress printing, the company was quick to adopt the Offset Litho Printing technique and during the late 1960's it introduced a facility for Film separations and Plate making.

Superfine continued to consolidate its market position during the next few decades, necessitating in 1991 a relocation to modern premises at Arncliffe. This move not only enabled us to plan a more efficient workflow and streamline our shift operations, but it also allowed us to develop and update our equipment in line with technological advancements.

The first stage of this development was to upgrade our Prepress with new plate making and proofing equipment coupled with an electronics environment housing a fully interfaced Scitex bureau facility, which has been constantly refurbished to remain efficient and competitive.

The introduction of our first 5 unit Heidelberg-CD in 1998, saw the start of 24 hour rotating shifts in the pressroom, which greatly enhanced our capacity to meet tighter deadlines.

In 2001 we implemented further improvements with the installation of our latest 4 unit Heidelberg-CD and upgraded technology in the areas of the Prepress and Management Information Systems.

To accommodate an expansion strategy in 2002 we merged into our premises, two other long established and highly respected printing companies, namely "W.B. Austin (Printing) P/L" and "Mitchell Printing Co".
